A.E. BAYLISS & SON & CO. 12-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 699, circa 1925, 30in. nitro reproved barrels, tubes engraved 'A.E. BAYLISS. SON. & CO. ST. MARY. BIRMINGHAM', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, automatic safety, border and partial scroll engraving, brushed finish, 14 3/4in. stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 11oz.

Provenance: The vendor has informed us that he bought this gun from William Grosvenor in 2009. The gun came from his late father, the Rt. Hon. Peter Grosvenor and the family owned shooting estates on Gower, North Wales, and in Scotland.

In the vendors words... "The gun has the engraved disc HRG and it is my understanding the gun originally belonged to Hugh Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Duke of Westminster..."
